The Tribunal suggests several additional websites relating to matters of Human Rights and the Québec legal regime. The following are links to governmental institutions, community and aid organizations, and legal databases websites. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and that the Human Rights Tribunal is in no way responsible for the content of these websites.

 

  • The Human Rights Tribunal has the authority to hear and decide litigations regarding discrimination, harassment, exploitation of elderly or handicapped persons, and affirmative action programs.
  • .However, before a case can be heard by the Tribunal, a complaint must first be filed with the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (CDPDJ).
